THE CHALLENGE
An independent artist with a teaching practice and things to sell has three businesses and usually three disconnected tools: a portfolio somewhere, a shop somewhere else, courses on a third platform taking a cut. Each has its own login, its own look, and its own admin.
Arabic adds a requirement most platforms handle badly. A bilingual site with proper RTL isn't a translation layer — it's a layout that has to work in both directions without breaking.
THE APPROACH
How we approached it
One platform, three surfaces, one admin.
The portfolio handles work with galleries, materials, year, and category. The shop supports both physical and digital products, with stock control and shipping requirements on physical items and secure file delivery with download limits on digital ones. The course system covers structured lessons with video, attachments, free preview lessons, enrolments tied to orders, and scheduled live sessions with meeting and recording links.
Bilingual English and Arabic with a language toggle switching document direction, built with RTL-aware layout rather than mirrored CSS.
The admin panel covers products, courses, lessons, portfolio, orders, messages, media, and site settings — including editable homepage sections, so the site changes without a developer.
Storage is separated by sensitivity: public images served openly, product files and course videos private and access-controlled.
